Ugh. Somehow I got out of the habit of keeping track of what we cooked, but I swear we’re still doing it! And we’ve made some amazing things.
Yesterday we made some chunky guacamole bruschetta for lunch, using this recipe, and it was really fantastic. I love clipping cilantro from my own back yard. We had the leftovers with chips for dinner alongside some salmon burgers we picked up from the seafood counter at the grocery store and grilled at home. Even though we didn’t technically make the salmon burgers, we were incredibly impressed with how much money we saved by buying them at the grocery store instead of eating out. A restaurant salmon burger would easily cost upwards of $12, but we paid only $3 for each one, including the bun. Well done, us!
