One of my favorite photos of my grandma is this one taken at the fountain on Belle Isle in Detroit. Wasn’t she sassy? I love that she wore heels with her bathing suit.
When Andy and I went to a wedding on Belle Isle a few weeks ago, I knew I had to stop and take photos in the same spot my grandma did so many years ago. It was my first trip to Belle Isle, and I really felt like I was walking in her footsteps that day.
I just wish I had half as much sass.
