We went to Detroit for our friends’ gorgeous wedding this weekend. I lived in the Detroit area for more than five years and grew up an hour away, so it was really great to go “home” for a while and to also see it through tourist eyes. I love this city. The wedding on Belle Isle and reception at Cliff Bell’s in downtown Detroit were absolutely amazing and so so so much fun. But holy moly it was hot hot hot.
