When I was looking through the Alice + Olivia Spring 2013 Ready to Wear collection the other day, I stopped in my tracks on a couple of absolutely gorgeous, long, colorful dresses, and my first thought was, “I’d wear that as a wedding dress.” Not typical at all, and most likely not at all intended as wedding gowns, these dresses are so full of character and personality and would really be a show-stopper. If I had a do-over (and unlimited funds), I’d wear either of these in a heartbeat.

What do you think? Would you consider a colorful wedding dress?

How about silver? This dress also by Alice + Olivia is a little more traditional… with a metallic twist. I think it would be perfect for a glamorous, sparkly wedding.

I’m a big fan of the rest of the collection, too. There’s a blue shift dress in particular that I would LOVE to have in my closet right now.
