So today we’ve been married for 11 months. 11 months! We’ll celebrate with a dinner at a new-to-us restaurant, which is our tradition, and probably some champagne, but only a little because I have to work in the morning. It’s going to be a good day.

And for something completely unrelated, I wanted to share this video that I saw this week of poet Shane Koyczan giving a TED talk about bullying.

It’s absolutely beautiful and made me really want to hear more. If you feel the same, there are more of Shane’s spoken word poems here.

And while I hold my breath for updates on the terrifying manhunt situation in Boston, I wanted to share a photo my amazing and inspiring friend Jodi posted on twitter this week that reminds us that it’s a small world, and we’re all in it together.
