I was going through some of my old magazines over the weekend and was reminded of how much I loved Corbin Bernsen’s kitchen in the March Country Living. With a mixture of reclaimed wood, stainless steel, and a neutral palette, this kitchen looks so warm and inviting. It’s perfect for family living.
The kitchen cabinets are covered in reclaimed barn wood and the counters are poured concrete. I’m so jealous of the open shelving and cute glass jars above the (gorgeous) stainless steel stove (from Sears!).
In the dining area, a big, old farmhouse table and new metal chairs perfectly complement the finishes in the kitchen, and the pendant lights are old chicken feeders. I love the repurposing!
Country kitchens don’t have to mean gingham curtains and apple wallpaper. I do love a good gingham, but this is the modern way to do it. The overall feeling is so comfortable and welcoming, and it really has me itching to get moving on our own kitchen remodel!!
Check out the rest of the home tour for even more inspiration. The whole house is gorgeous.
