I’m going to give Kerry a break this week and take over the Friday Favorites. Mostly because I have two of the most awesome favorites ever. Here we go.

1. Lil Bub! I actually just said to Kerry, “I think I’ve done Lil Bub already.” Her response was, “That’s okay. Can you have too much Lil Bub?” The answer is, obviously, no. I’ve been a big fan of Lil Bub for a while now. She’s an adorable cat with quite a few health problems, but she’s being cared for by a seemingly great owner who generally refers to himself as “Bub’s dude.” Or “Bub’s duderino,” if you’re not into the whole brevity thing. Bub posted this video on Facebook this week and I loved it. There’s no such thing as too much Lil Bub.

2. John Morillo. This guy is my new hero, and he should be yours too. He had been telling his friends for years that he could swim from Windsor to Detroit, and no one ever believed him. So the other night, he drank eight beers, and decided there’s no time like the present. The best part of all of this (and he admits most of it was pretty stupid) is his quotability. From making sure everyone knows he “wasn’t that drunk” to rationalizing that if you’re going to be in the paper, it better be because you actually did it, this guy totally rules.
