Almost every room in our house looks like this right now.
I don’t like to complain about construction. I mean, I know we are SO lucky to be able to do this, and it’s going to be SO great when everything is done…. But right now, I’m exhausted, and a little grumpy, and I just want my house back. It’s been a stressful week around here, with lots of unexpected issues (plumbing, ugh), and a lot of noise and mess and decisions to make. Plus, ohmygod all those boxes. I never want to see another box. So, needless to say, we’re getting anxious to be done. It’ll be soon. And I’ll stop whining, I promise!
This is what our upstairs bathroom is looking like these days. It’s never looked better.
I’ll have a couple of fun projects to share with you next week, and we are so excited to show you our finished countertops because they are amaaaazing. No complaints there! Have a great weekend, everyone!

This is what makes me nervous about doing a remodel … all the waiting and chaos involved! Maybe I can schedule ours when we take a vacation. Ha.
Oh yeah, it is totally stressful and sometimes I hate it and just want to run away… But at the same time, every time we reach a milestone, like when we got countertops and when we were able to move dishes into the cabinets, it is SO satisfying and worth it!
Maybe plan a vacation during the demolition! haha
