Happy Friday

dare

Well, great big giant Happy Friday to you guys! The sun is shining and it looks like it’s going to be a great day. Plus, it’s pay day and I’m going shopping, yay! (Except isn’t it always frustrating when you already know exactly what you want before you go to the mall, because of course it’s not going to actually exist at any store.)

Here’s a few things I love that I thought you may like, too…

Mr. Bright.Bazaar’s wedding vows made me laugh and cry at the same time. (The rest of the wedding is pretty darn gorgeous, too.)

I absolutely love what Laicie Heeley of A Thousand Threads wrote about what it means to be a woman today.

Speaking of being a woman, this article about turning 50 is so good. And relevant whether you’re 30 or 50 or 75, and probably even if you’re a man.

My friend Ann of Dogs in the CLE wrote a really important post about what you can do about puppy mills. It breaks my heart so much to think of all those poor, sweet animals stuck in cages. It has to be stopped.

On a lighter note… Who has the same personality as you!? We had so much fun with this test. I have the rarest personality type, like Gandhi and Thomas Jefferson. Andy is proud to say he shares a personality with Steve Jobs, which is totally spot on.

We have a jam-packed weekend coming up, full of parties and wine tastings and hopefully a whole lot of project finishing. What do you have going on this weekend? Come back next week for a big update on our living room, now that you’ve seen a couple of sneak peeks here and here.

Have a great weekend!

  1. Great links! I recently took that Myers-Briggs personality test as well, and I’m also an INFJ! If it’s really only 1% of the population, that’s pretty crazy. I’d be interested to know how many bloggers have the same personality type…

    1. Wow, I didn’t think of that but I bet you’re totally right. INFJs are supposed to be creative, artistic and intuitive, so it makes sense that we’d end up being bloggers. And as introverts, it makes sense that we’d spend so much time in front of the computer, haha! Thanks so much for commenting, Aileen!
