Woot, it’s Friday! What are you guys doing this weekend? It looks like it’s going to be a beautiful fall weekend in Cleveland, so I’m hoping to go pick some pumpkins and drink some hot apple cider. I also have at least three house projects that really, really need to get finished, and about a million I want to start!
Here’s a few photos from my iPhone lately…
I’m OBSESSED with Ace Pumpkin Cider, and at Jammy Buggers in Lakewood, they serve it with a cinnamon sugar rim. Amazing. (They also have a great salmon BLT.)
Our house looks like it’s wearing camo.
Last weekend we drove 2-1/2 hours each way to Ikea to pick up the supplies for a new project that you’ll see soon. We stopped for lunch at Jay’s Stuffed Burgers in Plymouth Township, Mich. So good. All the burgers are stuffed, obviously, with interesting ingredients, and the coney that I had was good, too. So if you’re ever at the Canton/Detroit Ikea, it’s definitely worth the extra 10 minute drive to stop at Jay’s. Also, if you’re in Cleveland, the Detroit Ikea is better than Pittsburgh’s and the drive is easier, just FYI. (But when oh when is Cleveland getting its own Ikea???!!!)
When we got home from Ikea, Andy took me out for ice cream at Mason’s Creamery in our neighborhood (super cute, delicious and the nicest people) and then said, “Let’s open a bottle of wine and build furniture.” Best. Husband. Ever. Trixie and I both helped a lot, as you can see. It was pretty much a perfect Saturday night.
The view from my desk when I go to work is awfully pretty. The hard part of working at a bridal shop is that it makes me want to get married all over again! (Isn’t that one on the left to die for?)
HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND, FRIENDS!!
♥ Kerry
Ohh I love that one on the left!!
