Well, woops, that was an unexpected most-of-the-week off from the blog! We finished a DIY project late Sunday, so on Monday I got up to take pictures for the blog… and woke up with a nasty cold, and the lighting was bad, and Ruby was being rambunctious, and the photos just weren’t good, and I was exhausted from our 1:30 and 4:30 a.m. alarms to take Ruby out. I tried again for Wednesday, and the camera batteries died… Of course. Sigh. It’s kind of nice to be lazy sometimes, right?!

My cold is finally starting to go away and we’re looking forward to a fun weekend, especially going to pick out our Christmas tree tomorrow, yay! I’m excited to finish our holiday decorating. What are you up to this weekend, friends? I hope you have a great one! Stay cozy. Take a nap. Or maybe do some Christmas shopping. (I haven’t even started, have you??)
