The Cleveland Home + Remodeling Expo is returning to the Cleveland Convention Center March 18-20. It’s a must-attend event for anyone interested in home improvement and DIY in Northeast Ohio!

This year we’re not only happy to have two tickets to give away to a lucky reader, but we’re so excited that we will be participating in the show! Along with several other local designers and bloggers we’ve been asked to upcycle a chair from “Drab to Fab” that will be auctioned off for charity. It’s a project that’s going to be so much fun for us, and we can’t wait to see our fixed-up chair at the show.

You know we spend a ridiculous amount of time watching HGTV, so needless to say we’re really excited about this year’s special guests, who just so happen to be everyone’s favorite twin brothers… The Property Brothers, Drew and Jonathan Scott! They’ll be appearing on stage on Saturday, March 19th, and I’d recommend getting there EARLY to see them. And while you’re at it, check out the rest of the fun things at the show … like bidding on a certain upcycled chair, of course!

Other event highlights include a “Better Gnomes and Gardens” competition where local celebrities are designing garden gnomes, and Tiny Homes built by Small Spaces CLE where you’ll be able to tour two complete homes that are only 200 square feet. There will also be appearances by Derek Diedricksen of HGTV’s “Tiny House Builders” and local DIY blogger Ursula Carmona of “Home Made by Carmona.” A How-To Stage will provide step-by-step instructions on some DIY projects.
