The Bay Shore Boathouse is our vacation home/soon-to-be AirBnb in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan. It’s not actually a boat, but it was designed by local architect Roger Hummel to look like the inside of a 17th century ship, complete with a porthole and ship’s ladder! With over 170 feet of private, secluded lakefront on Grand Traverse Bay halfway between Traverse City and Suttons Bay, stunning sunrise views, and a deck that sits almost over the crystal-clear water, this utterly unique cabin gives you the feeling of being afloat!
